Bogotá, Colombia Day 1 in Usaquèn

Last week I adventured to Bogotá, Colombia with my friend/Spanish-speaking guide Camila. Since her family is originally from the city, I was armed with every insider tip. At 4.5 days my trip was short and sweet – it IS possible to see a significant amount of the city in three days. If you’re planning a trip to Bogotá (do it!) here is my Day 1 suggestion: Usaquèn.

If you are lucky enough to be there on a Sunday, the residential area of Usaquèn has a fun weekly flea market. We walked around and found everything from leather goods to friendship-esque bracelets and endless options for delicious food. Of course going through my photos I think I was a bit fixated on the food…
