Bogotá, Colombia Day 3: City Sightseeing
My final day in Bogotá was filled with sightseeing in the city. As much as I hate being a super-tourist, there are certain things you can’t miss when you’re traveling! So we headed downtown to La Candelaria, the historic district of the city.

The Salt Cathedral is about an hour’s drive from Bogotà, but your trip to the city wouldn’t be complete without a visit to this underground church. Built within the tunnels of a salt mine, the church goes 200m underground (goodbye cell service) and is considered a tourist must-see.
